Educational Field Trips
Students will enjoy a delcious lunch buffet along with a fun-filled learning experience aligned with Kentucky Core Content! This outstanding teacher designed program supplements classroom instructino in math, social studies, economics, health and language arts.
Lessons engage students in hand-on activities to enhance performance on the CATS test. Some lessons also include extensions and follow-up activities. Specially designed instruction formats are developed by Kentucky Teachers meeting core content for grades K-8!

Math... The GattiTown Way!
- Only GattiTown can make fractions this much fun! After learning the skills, students will make a pizza they can enjoy. (Grades K-8)
- Using all the pizza toppings GattiTown has to offer, students learn combinations and problem solving as well as how many different pizzas they could make! Students will also find out how to make their favorite combination pizza. (Grades 4-8)
- Help your students learn permutations and probability while playing GattiTown games! Playing a variety of games, students will then analyze the probability of achieving various scores. (Grades 4-8)
- Graphing skills will be taught to students while playing GattiTown Games. Students will plot results on graphs from scores on games. (Grades 6-8)
Nutrition... The GattiTown Way!
- The Healthy Choices in Nutrition class will assist students in choosing foods that help fuel their bodies. Students will determine the best choices for snacks and meals as well as simple methods to remember portion sizes. (Grade K-8)
Language Arts... The GattiTown Way!
- Using descriptive writing to compare and contrast pizza! Students will experience writing using their favorite food: GattiTown pizza. When the writing is finished, everyone gets to enjoy GattiTown's delicious buffet! (Grades K-8)
- The logical sequence of writing will come to life as students help make pizzas! Using a rewcipe will reinforce this skill and let students test it out. (Grades K-8)
Consumerism/Economics... The GattiTown Way!
- Wants Vs. Needs is like games vs pizza! This lesson helps students understand the difference and leaves them "I want" (games) and "I need" (pizza) fulfilled! (Grades 4-8)
- Supply Vs. Demand demonstrated with ingredients will illustrate the importance of cost and profit in relation to society. Students will try to profit with the many fresh ingredients at the GattiTown salad bar. (Grades 4-8)
